Winstead Pond is a nice lake to visit. This place, Winstead Pond, it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. There's so much to do here at Winstead Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground is a good location for that; going for a hike on the Lanier Falls Trail is always a good adventure. Winstead Pond regularly gets a great deal of rainfall; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is April.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sanford, Nc is a magnificent location to get some rest, and if you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Tobacco Road Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Winstead Pond without first going for a hike along the Northington Ferry Trail, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Sanford. You don’t have to go | |

far from Winstead Pond to see the water at Winstead Pond Dam; if you came to camp Heritage Camping and Recreation is a tremendous location to do that.
Throughout the warm months highs here at Winstead Pond reach the 80's, and
through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Winstead Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. If you don’t have a problem getting
drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deep River, and while you're here, you could check out Little Juniper Creek. Go for a hike on the Campbell Creek Loop, and whitewater paddling is fine on Bear Creek.
