Wilson Lower Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Three Forks Trail offers hiking at its best; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis. Looking for some flowing water? Try Clear Creek, and on a lovely day you get a nice panorama of Brown Mountain from Wilson Lower Reservoir.

| | wonderful. Why not explore Wilson Lower Dam since you're here, and beautiful scenery and magnificent skiing is what you acquire at Sky Valley. Hiking along the Burrells Ford Trail is delightful fun; you can stay the night at Blue Valley Campground. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area right next door to Wilson Lower Reservoir has to offer. So much cool stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. There's so much to do here at Wilson Lower Reservoir that you need to camp here
for a while, Van Hook Glade Campground is a magnificent site for that, and after a long day outdoors Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a good spot to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. This
place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Clear Creek, and hey, Gotta ski right? Scaly Mountain is a good location to do that.
And that's not all you can do here at
Wilson Lower Reservoir. Wilson Lower Reservoir is right by the Ellicott Rock Trail, and paddling on Overflow Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Wilson Lower Reservoir is near Sandy Gap which is absolutely worth taking
a look at, and if you need a place to stay The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a great choice. Through the months of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Wilson Lower Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the
50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Wilson Lower Reservoir dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
A lot of precipitation falls at Wilson Lower Reservoir; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
