Wilson Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. A lake nearby is Wilson Lower Reservoir, and there's glorious hiking along the Three Forks Trail. Wilson Lakes in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Playing golf is lots of fun at Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis, and Wilson Lakes is right by the Burrells Ford Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. | | to Clear Creek if you're here at Wilson Lakes, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek. Throughout the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Wilson Lakes. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Wilson Lakes descend into the 20's. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to | |

enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Blue Valley Campground is a good place to camp. The high level of rainfall makes Wilson Lakes a reasonably wet place; March is when you
get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Old Edwards Inn and Spa; Van Hook Glade Campground is a pleasant local campground. What a site this is for outdoors folks.
The Ellicott Rock Trail offers hiking at its best, as expected you could also stop by Club Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Brown Mountain is easy to spot from Wilson Lakes; if you need a place to stay The Inn at Half
Mile Farm is a great choice. Put some time aside to spend at Glen Falls since you're here at Wilson Lakes, and whitewater paddling is good on Overflow Creek. That right there is a lot of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the
Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Sandy Gap is near Wilson Lakes and is a tremendous spot, and a day on the slopes of Sky Valley is just what you need. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to return
home again. Wilson Lower Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and the snow is brilliant at Scaly Mountain.
