If time allows, Cape Lookout National Seashore is a national park worth a visit, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Neusiok Trail. You are next to Eastmouth Bay if you're here at Willow Pond; on a delightful day you can take a look at Bare Sand Beach. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Willow Pond get into the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's.       The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Willow Pond are in the 30's. Willow Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and April is when it's the driest.
