Sure, Mullet Pond is close at hand, and why not check out close by Sleepy Creek since you're here at Willow Pond. Lots of rainfall falls at Willow Pond; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is April. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Morehead City is a glorious place to get some rest, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Neusiok Trail. Through the months of summer, highs       commonly are in the 80's at Willow Pond. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 70's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Willow Pond. If you haven’t been to Cape Lookout National Seashore, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here, and if you want to hit the beach, Bare Sand Beach is close at hand.
