Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Uwharrie River; Willomore Lake is a nice site to camp, High Rock Lake Marina and Campground is a nice site. Stay the night at Holly Bluff Family Campground, and you can run the rapids of Yadkin River. Willomore Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; during June this area sees the most rain; the driest month is April. The view of stunning Three Hat Mountain near Willomore       Lake is great; going for a hike on the Uwharrie Jeep Trail is always a good adventure. For the period of the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 90's at Willomore Lake; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
