If you like lakes and you're in this part of North Carolina you can check out Williamson Pond. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Williamson Pond. A good close by hotel is Raeford-Days Inn, and a gorgeous lake like Wrights Pond is a good location to explore. This lake is so wonderful. At Williamson Pond you always meet someone from Laurinburg, and there's some exciting stuff to make out at Williamson Pond Dam in the vicinity of Williamson

| | Pond. Through the long summer days at Williamson Pond highs are regularly in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Williamson Pond. Some of the water close by flows, like Toneys Creek; Williamson Pond is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Pine Lake Campground is a brilliant site to camp nearby. | |

There are some glorious whitewater spots on Little River, and do explore Hodgins Pond, it's a pretty lake. Econo Lodge & Suites is a good spot to get some rest; you can stay the night at Long Leaf Pines Oasis. Williamson Pond
sees pretty high levels of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain; April meanwhile is the driest month.
