and playing golf is lots of fun at Carolina Lakes Golf Course. Any time is a good time at Williams Pond if you go for the outdoors. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Spring Lake-Ft. Bragg/Pope Afb, and possibly you're
looking for close by lakes? Sure, Silver Run Lake is just a very short distance away. Hiking along the Campbell Creek Loop is perfect fun. There's so much to do here at Williams Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy Acres
is a magnificent site for that. Williams Pond regularly gets a good deal of precipitation; through July this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is November. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Williams Pond.

 | Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking. Also nice beach area for the summer.... |

 | 11 miles away I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo. We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so.... |
