Williams Pond is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Spring Hill Park is a glorious spot to camp nearby; the scenery at Odell Pond Dam is scenic. The high level of rain makes Williams Pond a reasonably wet location; May is when you get the most rain here, and September on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you       at Carolina Inn, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Haw River. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Williams Pond. While you're here at Williams Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Durham; some of the water close by flows, like Brooks Creek. The Franklin Hotel is a delightful location to get some rest, and Burnett Mountain is simple to spot from Williams Pond. You'll need                  more than a day to look at everything Williams Pond has to offer, you can camp at Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground, and The Preserve at Jordon Lake Golf Club is a glorious golf course nearby. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Williams Pond get into the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
