So many fun things to do here at Willett Lake, too magnificent to be true. Take a hike on the Northington Ferry Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Sanford here. Willett Lake generally gets lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is July while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Sanford, and Willett Lake is not       the only spot close by, Winstead Pond is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and Tobacco Road Golf Club is a pleasant golf course nearby. Whitewater paddling is great on Little River; as expected Little Juniper Creek flows through this vicinity. You can take a little trip to Willette Lake Dam if you're here at Willett Lake, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sanford, Nc is                  a pleasant spot to get some rest. If you came for an overnight stay Heritage Camping and Recreation is a nice place to camp, obviously you could also visit Morris Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. For the period of the warm months here at Willett Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Willett Lake descend into the 20's. Willett Lake is right by the Lanier Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
