Very great water scenery is available at Willette Lake Dam close to Willett Lake, and going for a hike on the Campbell Creek Loop is always a great adventure. The high level of precipitation makes Willett Lake a rather wet location; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is April. Little Juniper Creek is close to Willett Lake and is always a delight to pop by,       and a great location for whitewater paddling is Little River. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Willett Lake. There are good sites to discover along the Lanier Falls Trail, and if you need a place to stay Jameson Inn Sanford is a splendid choice. You can run the rapids of Deep River close to Willett Lake; a good site to camp here at Willett Lake is Jordan Dam RV Park and Campground. At Willett Lake during the warmest time of the year highs                  are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Willett Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Northington Ferry Trail. Willett Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Heritage Camping and Recreation is a wonderful local campground, and you'll meet a lot of people from Sanford here. This lake is so wonderful.
