Wilkes Lake is a pretty wet place typically with a lot of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain                  here while January is typically the driest month. All through the days of summer here at Wilkes Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, mostly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Wilkes Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Wilkes Lake really is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise.
