For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Whiteside Lake. Whiteside Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Whiteside Lake, too brilliant to be true. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Cullasaja River. There's       so much to do here at Whiteside Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ammons Branch Campground is a splendid location for that. Whiteside Lake is a rather wet place typically with a good deal of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October. The slopes of Sky Valley are so inviting noone can resist, and The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Goat                  Knob is wonderful and can be seen from Whiteside Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Whiteside Lake has to offer, you can camp at Van Hook Glade Campground. Having a splendid time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is simple. Golf can be played at High Hampton Inn & Country Club; needless to say, this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Allison Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. You don’t have to go far from Whiteside Lake to see the water at Whiteside Lake Dam, and you could always look at Cowee Gap. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Scaly Mountain; you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail. Yeah, come here to Whiteside Lake for a wonderful time. If the weather is great here at Whiteside Lake, you can go for a hike along the Ellicott Rock Trail, and naturally Shortoff Creek flows through this neighborhood. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. While you're here at Whiteside Lake you can take a hike along the Shortoff Mountain Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Norton Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. After a long day outdoors Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
