Whites Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and not far from Whites Lake you'll hit upon Veazsys Lake which is a pretty lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Whites Lake a wet place; July is the wettest month with most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ramada Limited Creedmoor/Butner is a good location to spend a night or two, and Whites Lake is nice

| | enough to spend more than a day at, Holly Grove Campground is a nice local campground. Through the warm days of summer at Whites Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Whites Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. There's whitewater on Flat River for all you thrill seekers. Holiday Inn Express BUTNER-CREEDMOOR is a great place to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Briggs Lake is close by. | |
