If you need a spot to stay Greensboro Marriott Downtown is a nice choice; there are some good whitewater spots on Deep River. Visit Muddy Creek while you're here at White Oak Lake, and a great nearby hotel is Biltmore Greensboro Downtown. This lake is so wonderful. The good folks of Greensboro-High Point like to hang out nearby, and Summit Conference       center is a great campground nearby. What a site this is for outdoors folks. White Oak Lake Dam is delightful and it's near White Oak Lake; enjoy a round of golf at Cedarcrest Golf Course. At White Oak Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 40's, and overnight lows at White Oak Lake during the winter typically fall into the 20's. White Oak Lake mostly gets a                  great deal of precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful.
