Go to Wests Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. You could also pop by Cambro Pond while you're here at Wests Pond; it's close by; Holiday Inn Express Spring Lake-Ft. Bragg/Pope Afb is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Wests Pond is a great site to camp, Lazy Acres is a great site. Cape Fear has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and the Fish Camp Trail offers hiking at its best.

| | Beech Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Upper Little River. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Wests Pond has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Group Camp Trail; if you need a place to stay Sleep Inn ,Inn & Suites is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Smith Lake Dam is a charming spot near Wests Pond, and Fayetteville Koa is a splendid campground here.

Pond a wet spot; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and November on the other hand is the driest. During the summer months here at Wests Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's with night
lows in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Wests Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. On a delightful day you can have a look at Black Swamp, a swamp in the vicinity of Wests Pond, and there are plenty of people from Dunn here.
