place for whitewater paddling near Wests Pond is Upper Little River. Sleep Inn ,Inn & Suites is a wonderful place to get some rest; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Cape Fear.
You'll wish for more hours in a day
to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Wests Pond. The Fish Camp Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Wests Pond, and people from Dunn love to come here. The high level of rain makes Wests Pond a reasonably wet spot; July
is the month that gets the most rain, and November meanwhile is the driest month. Swamps can be such attention-grabbing places, visit Black Swamp if you're here at Wests Pond, and on a good day you can take a hike along the American Beech Trail.
