Hiking is a popular thing to do around West Pond; Campbell Creek Loop is a pleasant local trail; playing golf is lots of fun at Carolina Lakes Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Sleep Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest, and Buffalo Lakes is a splendid lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful.       West Pond Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and do take a hike on the Northington Ferry Trail. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SPRING LAKE-FT. BRAGG/POPE AFB is a brilliant choice. Lakes? Sure, Kiest Lake is close at hand. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. You're sure to come across some great people from Sanford here, and West Pond is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Heritage Camping                  and Recreation is a tremendous site to camp nearby. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Lanier Falls Trail. West Pond commonly gets much precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the days of summer at West Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's.
