For the period of the months of summer highs here at West Lake get into the 80's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, typically in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at West Lake descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Kamper's Lodge Of America is a wonderful local campground, and West Lake is not       the only place close by, Charles Norwood Lake is a close by lake. West Lake is a rather wet place usually with a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is November. What a site this is for outdoors people. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a glimpse of at West Lake Dam near West Lake; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Goldsboro Inn.
