Weeks Pond gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls during August, and April is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rocky Mount Inn, and you can run the rapids of Tar River. This lake is so wonderful. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to make out at Weeks Pond Dam right next door to Weeks Pond, and Comfort Inn Tarboro is a great place to get       some rest. Here at Weeks Pond you'll probably meet some folks from Rocky Mount. During the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Weeks Pond while night lows are mostly in the 60's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 40's; night lows at Weeks Pond through the wintertime regularly dip into the 20's.
