can run the rapids of Dan River. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more to do close to Waynick Lake. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Reedy Fork Creek, of course you could also explore Barricks Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.

 | 19 miles away Hwy 772 access as been roped off with No-Trespassing signs. This access is used a lot during the summer months, but evidently it is private property or someone is confused.
Thought I'd let you know this since it's only a few miles from my house. That's a nice place to get in the river, but evidently somebody don't like the general public to use it. ... |
