Man, is there a load of entertaining things to do in close proximity to Waynesville Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Trail's End RV Park is a great place to camp; Waynesville Water Supply Dam has good water scenery. A good deal of rainfall falls at Waynesville Reservoir; the month with most of the rain is July; October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Waynesville Reservoir       near Waynesville Reservoir, it's a pretty lake; paddling on Pigeon River - West Fork is so much fun. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Summertime highs at Waynesville Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Waynesville Reservoir. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Blue                  Ridge Mountains has to offer. A delightful spot to check out in the vicinity of Waynesville Reservoir is Big Cove, and going for a hike on the Art Loeb Trail is always a tremendous adventure.
