But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking along the Art Loeb Trail is tremendous fun, and there's some flowing water nearby, Bearpen Branch is a stream you       can explore while you're here. The high level of rainfall makes Waynesville Reservoir a reasonably wet location; through the month of July you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Pigeon River - West Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot near Waynesville Reservoir, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Waynesville Country Club Inn & Starter. This lake                  is so wonderful. Waynesville Reservoir is in the vicinity of Waynesville Water Supply Dam which is a scenic site undeniably worth stopping at, and the top of Pinnacle Knob is easily observed from Waynesville Reservoir. Having a pleasant time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is uncomplicated. Stay the night at Trail's End RV Park, and the snow is nice at Cataloochee. Going for a hike along the Palmer Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful.
