High temperatures at Waynesville Reservoir during the summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Waynesville Reservoir plunge into the 20's. There's       so much to do here at Waynesville Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Trail's End RV Park is a fine spot for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Pigeon River - West Fork offers some great whitewater. So much cool stuff to do here at Waynesville Reservoir, too great to be true. The Waynesville Inn Golf Resort and Spa is a great place to get some rest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Art Loeb Trail; do stop by Waynesville                  Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. At Waynesville Water Supply Dam right next door to Waynesville Reservoir there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and Big Cove is without doubt a good location to visit. This spot, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Here at Waynesville Reservoir you'll possibly meet some people from Brevard, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Smoky Mountain Inn is a pleasant choice. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Waynesville Reservoir. Stay the night at Hemphill Mountain Campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Cataloochee. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Take a hike on the Caldwell Fork Trail, and hey, Bearpen Branch is a pleasant local stream. This lake is so wonderful. At Waynesville Reservoir you can spot Lickstone Bald, and Lake Logan is a nearby lake that you could visit. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
