    Beautiful Watson Lake has much to offer visitors. So many amusing things to do at Watson Lake, so little time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Wilson Lake, and get wet paddling on Little River. Summertime highs at Watson Lake usually tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Watson Lake. This is a popular place for  
   people from Fayetteville, and golf can be played at King's Grant Golf Club.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Watson Lake a wet site; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month of the year is November. Wilson Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and after a long day outdoors Ramada Inn is a splendid site to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Watson Lake, you'll locate Warren Lake which
 
               is a delightful lake, and Lazy Acres is a nice campground nearby. Quality Inn Ambassador is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Watson Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Fayetteville Koa is a good spot to camp nearby.

Smith Lake
Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....

McFadyen Lake
I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....
