Waterville Lake usually gets a great deal of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You simply must love the Great Smoky Mountains. Since you're here at Waterville Lake why not take a look at Dicks Gap, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Cataloochee. What a location this is for outdoors people. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Big Branch Trail; you don’t have to go far from Waterville Lake to catch a sight of the water at Walters Dam. A good site to camp here at Waterville Lake is Creekwood Farm RV Park; hiking is a popular thing to do around Waterville Lake; Asbury Trail is a perfect

This lake is located in the wonderful Great Smoky Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Cataloochee Creek; Cataloochee Creek
has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the Great Smoky Mountains. Cowpen Top can be spotted from Waterville Lake; a great nearby hotel is The Swag.
