Waterville Lake usually gets a great deal of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You simply must love the Great Smoky Mountains. Since you're here at Waterville Lake why not take a look at Dicks Gap, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Cataloochee. has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the Great Smoky Mountains. Cowpen Top can be spotted from Waterville Lake; a great nearby hotel is The Swag.
