    Beautiful Wallace Pond has much to offer visitors. A tremendous close by hotel is Holiday Inn Fayetteville-Bordeaux, Nc; a lake close by is Hope Mills Lake. If you came to camp Lazy Acres is a delightful site to do that, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Buckhead Creek. Wallace Pond is right next door to Wallace Pond Dam which is a scenic site definitely worth stopping at, and camping at Fayetteville Koa is always a wonderful experience.

   Pond is a rather wet place generally with a good deal of precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Ole Bluff Golf Course; glide down the rapids of Little River in a kayak. If you need a location to stay Value Place Fayetteville WR is a nice choice.
Throughout the summer months highs here at Wallace Pond get into the 80's; the night is
 
               a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Wallace Pond. McFadyen Lake
I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....

Smith Lake
Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....
