     Lazy Acres is a great local campground; at Wallace Pond you always meet someone from Fayetteville. Fayetteville Koa is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Wallace Pond, you could also go to nearby Hope Mills Lake; a good close by hotel is Holiday Inn FAYETTEVILLE-BORDEAUX. Why not have a look at nearby Buckhead Creek while you're here at Wallace Pond; if you need a site to stay Value Place Fayetteville WR is a magnificent choice.
 
   This site rocks, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the vicinity of Wallace Pond. There's always Wallace Pond Dam to go to in the neighborhood of Wallace Pond; a golf course nearby is Ole Bluff Golf Course. Cumberland Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; whitewater paddling is great on Little River. The high level of precipitation makes Wallace Pond a reasonably wet place; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of  
               the year is November.
Through the summer months highs here at Wallace Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 50's; nighttime lows at Wallace Pond all through the winter regularly sink into the 20's.

McFadyen Lake
I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....

Smith Lake
Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....
