There's so much to do here at Lake Wade that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Conference center is a splendid site for that. Throughout the warm months here at Lake Wade, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lake Wade temperatures       fall to the 20's. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Wade a pretty wet place; July is when you get the most rain here; January on the other hand is the driest. What a site this is for outdoors folks. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Of Reidsville is a great location to spend a night or two; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Reedy Fork Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater                  of Dan River, and for you golfers we recommend close by Wolf Creek Golf Club. Lake Wade is not the only location close by, Rockingham Lake is a close by lake, and there are plenty of folks from Burlington here.
