Wilkes County Reservoir Park is a wonderful campground nearby, also W Kerr Scott Dam is worth visiting since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a brilliant little tour to Fish Dam Creek, and W Kerr Scott Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Yellow Jacket Lake is a nearby lake. The high level of rain makes W Kerr Scott Reservoir a reasonably wet place; March is       the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. All the outdoors fun things right next door to W Kerr Scott Reservoir will keep you coming back again and again. If you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn Wilkesboro is a tremendous choice; W Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir is a glorious local campground. Don't leave W Kerr Scott Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Dogwood Trail, and Yadkin River is a fine whitewater spot nearby.                  This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is W Kerr Scott Reservoir; a round of golf at nearby Sumerset Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time.
