Von Canon Lake is a wet site that gets lots of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here while April is mostly the driest month. Camping at Heritage Camping and Recreation is always a glorious experience; Homewood Suites Olmsted Village-Near Pinehurst is a nice spot to get some rest. For the period of the months of summer at Von Canon Lake highs are typically in the 80's. For       the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Von Canon Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. A wonderful location to camp here at Von Canon Lake is Pine Lake Campground, and get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Deep River. This lake is so wonderful.
