Von Canon Lake is a wet site that gets lots of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here while April is mostly the driest month. Camping at Heritage Camping and Recreation is always a glorious experience; Homewood Suites Olmsted Village-Near Pinehurst is a nice spot to get some rest. A wonderful location to camp here at Von Canon Lake is Pine Lake Campground, and get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Deep River. This lake is so wonderful. People from Southern Pines love to come to Von Canon Lake; dry warm beds await you at Pinehurst Resort.
