Not far from Voglers Lake, you'll locate Alsups Pond which is a pretty lake; Clemmons Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The wonderful people of Winston-Salem like to hang out nearby; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Cooks Wall Trail. Camping is available at Tanglewood Family Resort, and if you're here you can       take a hike along the Moores Knob Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Voglers Lake is a rather wet place usually with a great deal of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is November. Not far from Voglers Lake you obtain some great water scenery at Voglers Lake Dam, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Cascade Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Voglers Lake. Float down the                  rapids of Yadkin River in a kayak, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Grandview Golf Club. A nice close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Clemmons, Nc; why not camp at Pioneer Village Family Campground if you're here at Voglers Lake. During the summertime months at Voglers Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
