spots on Dan River. Dudley Inn and Conference Center is a brilliant site to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend South Mayo River. Upper Merchants Lake is a quite wet place
usually with a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls during July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A lake nearby is Honkers Hollow Lake, and a quick tour to Kings Creek is certainly a brilliant
idea. Near Upper Merchants Lake you find a golf course called Dawn Acres Golf Club; if you get bored of Upper Merchants Lake you could also stop by nearby Lower Merchants Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Merchants Lake Dam is not far at all from Upper Merchants Lake, and folks from Greensboro-High Point love to come here.
