Throughout the months of summer at Upper McKellars Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's while Upper McKellars Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Lower McKellars       Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at; Upper McKellars Pond is a spot with many visitors from Fayetteville. You can take a little journey to NC Noname Forty-Five Dam if you're here at Upper McKellars Pond, and it's a delightful idea to take a look at Cypress Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Lanier Falls Trail is a good hiking trail near Upper McKellars Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn                  Express Hotel & Suites SPRING LAKE-FT. BRAGG/POPE AFB is a nice choice. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. At Upper McKellars Pond you can make out Coolyconch Mountain, and on a great day you can take a hike along the American Beech Trail. Lots of rainfall falls at Upper McKellars Pond; July is the wettest month with most rain while November is mostly the driest month.
