Upper Lake Toxaway generally gets lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. After a long day outdoors Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a wonderful location to spend a night or two; if you're here you can take a hike along the Foothills Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate       a gorgeous lake called Blue Ridge Lake near Upper Lake Toxaway, and Pounding Branch Campground is a magnificent local campground. And that's not all you can do here at Upper Lake Toxaway. Lake Toxaway Company Country Club is a golf course near Upper Lake Toxaway, and get covered with water paddling on Toxaway River - Upper. The warmest time of the year at Upper Lake Toxaway arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is a tad chillier of course,                  ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Upper Lake Toxaway during the wintertime usually descend into the 20's. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Upper Lake Toxaway has it all. This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. A pretty lake like Indian Lake Upper right next door to Upper Lake Toxaway is a glorious location to explore, and Sapphire Valley Resort is a nice spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Lake Toxaway is not far at all from Brevard, and going for a hike along the Art Loeb Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You don’t have to go far from Upper Lake Toxaway to make out the water at Upper Lake Toxaway Dam, and Big Pisgah Mountain can be seen from Upper Lake Toxaway. Drift down the rapids of Tuckasegee River in a kayak, and a wonderful spot close by is Hogback Valley. So many cool things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time.
