There are some delightful whitewater spots on Toxaway River - Upper; naturally, this is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes, Hogback Lake is a lake nearby. Going for a hike along the Foothills Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and you're most likely interested in lakes, Intermont Lake is one of those close by. High temperatures at Upper Lake Toxaway during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter
lows in the 20's overnight here at Upper Lake Toxaway. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Sapphire Valley Resort is a good choice; Hogback Valley is a glorious spot to spend some time. Not enough hours in a
day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. The smiling folks of Brevard like to hang out nearby; camping is available at Pounding Branch Campground.
But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Have a
good hiking adventure along the Art Loeb Trail; why not camp at Panther Ridge RV Park and Community if you're here at Upper Lake Toxaway. Big Pisgah Mountain is clearly visible from Upper Lake Toxaway, and a magnificent nearby hotel
is Rodeway Inn Brevard. A great deal of precipitation falls at Upper Lake Toxaway; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
