A wonderful nearby hotel is Marriott Greensboro Airport, and do take a look at Hillside Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Crestwood Suites - Greensboro-Airport is a perfect spot to get some rest, and Upper Colonial Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Humphrey's Ridge Camp is a great place to camp nearby. Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. Oak Hollow Campground is a great campground nearby, and since you're here, you could also check out charming Wood Lake.

Thought I'd let you know this since it's only a few miles from my house. That's a nice place to get in the river, but evidently somebody don't like the general public to use it. ... |
