At Twiman Candle Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Twiman Candle Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fisher River; a tremendous nearby hotel is Days Inn Yadkinville.       Twiman Candle Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain; November on the other hand is the driest. Yadkin River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you get bored of Twiman Candle Lake you could also go to close by Arnie Shore Lake. Enjoy a round of golf at Silo Run Golf Course not far from Twiman Candle Lake, and a lake close by is Jim Frazier Lake. If you came to camp                  Homeplace Recreational Park is a splendid place to do that, and Twiman Candle Lake Dam is not far at all from Twiman Candle Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Twiman Candle Lake has to offer. There's so much to do here at Twiman Candle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Holly Ridge Family Campground is a good site for that, and Super 8 Motel - Jonesville/Elkin Area is a fine site to get some rest.
