There's whitewater on Mayo River - North Fork for all you adrenaline people, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Smiths Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Eden is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and obviously, this is a tremendous region for folks       who like lakes, Medberrys Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the months of summer at Tuttles Lake highs are regularly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Tuttles Lake are in the 20's. Tuttles Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here while December is commonly the driest month.                  Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Eden. There's so much to do here at Tuttles Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dan River Campground is a glorious place for that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Whetstone Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of North Mayo.
