Tuckasegee Lake is a nice lake to visit. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tuckasegee River - West Fork, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Shortoff Mountain Trail. Very charming scenery and great skiing is what you get at Scaly Mountain, and the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Bell Coney Branch is in close proximity to Tuckasegee Lake and is always a joy to take a look

| | at, and The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a nice place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. You're possibly hooked on lakes, Trout Lake is one of those nearby, and hey, Gotta ski right? Cataloochee is a glorious spot to do that. At Tuckasegee Lake all through the warm months highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Tuckasegee Lake dipping down | |

into the 20's throughout winter nights. Tuckasegee Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Man, is there a lot of amusing things to do in close proximity to Tuckasegee Lake. Near Tuckasegee Lake you hit upon the
Ellicott Rock Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and camping at Singing waters Camping Resort is always a nice experience. And if that's not enough there's lots more amusing things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you're
here, you might as well pop by Bull Gap, and if you need a spot to stay Sapphire Valley Resort is a delightful choice. Tuckasegee Lake is a wet site that gets much precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here while October
is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Tuckasegee Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Betsy Falls, and on a beautiful day you obtain a perfect vista of Grassy Top from Tuckasegee Lake.
Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is great! No need to travel far to take a look at attention-grabbing stuff like Cedar Cliffs. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable
things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lakes are wonderful; Lake Glenville is a lake that's next to Tuckasegee Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Tuckasegee River offers some perfect whitewater. Camping is
available at Arrowmont Stables and Cabins, and you can take a little spree to Cedar Cliff Dam while you're here at Tuckasegee Lake.
