If you are in Watauga county it's always a good idea to stop by Trout Lake. The skiing at Appalachian Mountain is great, and naturally Chestnut Branch flows through this vicinity. Trout Lake is a pretty wet place generally with a lot of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and December is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Trout Lake to spot the water at Trout Lake Dam, and you can

Summertime highs at Trout Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's; night lows at Trout Lake throughout the wintertime usually drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. place to spend a night or two. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Trout Lake. Yadkin River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Trout Lake is a location with many visitors from Boone.
So many cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just fantastic. Grapevine Gap is a perfect place to explore nearby, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk Creek. Trout Lake is located
in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Pine Knob is wonderful and can be distinguished from Trout Lake, and Trout Lake is a tremendous location to visit for more
than one day, Hitchin Post RV Park is a tremendous location to camp nearby. Go for a hike on the Daniel Boone Scout Trail; Roaring River Chalets is a delightful location to get some rest.
