Where is trout lake is that near winklers creek? If so I thought it was prohibited to boat there. So if that is not true, respond please I'd appreciate it.

At Trout Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Trout Lake dip into the 10's. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Elk Creek offers some tremendous whitewater, and perfect water scenery is available

| | at Trout Lake Dam near Trout Lake. During your trip to Trout Lake you'll meet some folks from Boone for sure, and the vista of beautiful Pine Knob is brilliant. Trout Lake is a wet location that gets much rain; most of the rain falls through May; December on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Looking for some flowing water? Try Chestnut Branch, and if you've had enough of Trout Lake, Bright Penny Lake is nearby. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Trout Lake. Really great
skiing awaits you at Appalachian Mountain, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yadkin River. Boone KOA is a tremendous local campground, and a tremendous close by hotel is Roaring River
Chalets. Don't leave Trout Lake without first going for a hike along the Yancey Ridge Trail, and if you need a place to stay The Lodge is a splendid choice. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Trout Lake, too tremendous
to be true. Having a splendid time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is easy. If you came for an overnight stay Hitchin Post RV Park is a tremendous location to camp, and you're probably interested in lakes, Fleetwood Falls Lake is one of those close by.
