This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to Trading Post Lake? Shallowford Lakes is in close proximity; Holiday Inn Express CLEMMONS (WINSTON/SALEM AREA) is a good site to get some rest. Trading       Post Lake mostly gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is November. You just should go for Trading Post Lake. You could also have a look at Soloman Lake if you're here at Trading Post Lake; it's nearby; there are some nice whitewater spots on Yadkin River. Trading Post Lake Dam is striking and it's near Trading Post Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Trading Post Lake; Cooks                  Wall Trail is a good local trail.
