Crystal Lake
This person is not talking about White Lake.  According to the map, it's a lake behind some shopping centers, in a higher crime housing area of Winston.  Thanks for the ''big'' getaway idea there....I believe the lake you are thinking of is White Lake....Does this lake have clear water?  Sounds crazy but someone told us about a lake in NC where the water is very clear....

Dan River
Hwy 772 access as been roped off with No-Trespassing signs. This access is used a lot during the summer months, but evidently it is private property or someone is confused.

Thought I'd let you know this since it's only a few miles from my house. That's a nice place to get in the river, but evidently somebody don't like the general public to use it. ...

Sunset Park Campground

My boys went paddling on the paddle boat and swimming in the pond.  We went hiking along a trail to see a big rock that was a part of pilot knob. Love the creek that ran thru the whole campground.  Love the family atmosphere. ...
