If you came to camp Heritage Camping and Recreation is a delightful location to do that, and Thurlows Lake is not far at all from Sanford. All through the long summer days at Thurlows Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in       the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Thurlows Lake. Not far from Thurlows Lake, you'll hit upon Crystal Lake which is a pretty lake; near Thurlows Lake you come across a golf course called Pine Horse Golf Club. If you need a place to stay Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club is a pleasant choice, and you can run the rapids of Little River. This lake is so wonderful. Thurlows Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Lake Campground is a good local campground, and Deep River is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
