If you are traveling by, why not stop by Thrash Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Bryson Branch; there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Side Hill Trail. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Wolf Laurel. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more amusing things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

| | A great vista of beautiful Hayes Top is available from Thrash Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Walnut Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn ASHEVILLE - BILTMORE WEST is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and close by you locate the Shut-In Trail which is a great hiking trail. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Thrash Lake. | |

Camping at Rocky Creek Campground is always a great experience, and skiing at Ski Beech is one of those things you just ought to do. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Thrash Lake. Going for a hike on the
Laurel Mountain Trail is always a great adventure, and camping is available at Asheville West KOA. A pretty lake like Starnes Cove Lakes near Thrash Lake is a pleasant location to have a look at; Brooks Cove is a great place
to spend some time. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to make out at Thrash Dam near Thrash Lake, and this is a popular place for people from Asheville. Through the summer months
here at Thrash Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at
Thrash Lake plunge into the 20's. Much rainfall falls at Thrash Lake; most of the rain falls all through July, and October on the other hand is the driest. Do have a look at Enka Lake in the vicinity of Thrash Lake, it's a striking
lake; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn West is a perfect choice. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit French Broad River, and the panoramas at Blue Ridge Parkway will blow your mind.
