    The beauty of Thrash Lake is reason enough to stop by. So many amusing things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just remarkable. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Ski Beech. Through the summertime here at Thrash Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows during  
   the winter for Thrash Lake tend to be in the 20's. From Thrash Lake you acquire a pleasant view of Hayes Top, and there's whitewater on Walnut Creek for all you adrenaline kick people.
This lake is so wonderful. Brooks Cove is a great place to spend some time at, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend French Broad River. And that's not all you can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Blue Ridge Parkway is a very
 
               delightful location to pop by in close proximity to Thrash Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Thrash Lake; Shut-In Trail is a brilliant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Thrash Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wolf Laurel if you're here.
A quick visit to Bryson Branch close to Thrash Lake is a brilliant idea; folks from Asheville love to come here. Thrash Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are in fact abundant here at Thrash Lake. If you need a site to stay Red Roof Inn is a magnificent choice, and there's glorious hiking along the Side Hill Trail.
You simply must love Thrash Lake. Thrash Lake is a perfect place to camp, Asheville West KOA is a perfect place. The high level of precipitation makes Thrash Lake a relatively wet place; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Thrash Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bear Creek RV Park and Campground; dry warm beds await you at Nakon Motel.
