You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Thomas Pond has to offer. You'll meet a lot of folks from Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord here, and dry warm beds await you at Ramada Airport North Charlotte. This lake is so wonderful. Gum Branch is a glorious spot       to pop by; if you need a spot to stay Wingate by Wyndham Charlotte Airport is a magnificent choice. A beautiful lake like Brinkleys Twin Lakes Number One close to Thomas Pond is a nice site to check out; Thomas Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Paramount's Carowinds Campground is a great local campground. All through the summertime highs here at Thomas Pond reach the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of                  the winter come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Thomas Pond. For you golfers we recommend nearby Oak Hills Golf Course. Thomas Pond ordinarily gets a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
