The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Thomas Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; nighttime lows at Thomas Lake through the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 20's. Thomas Lake is a brilliant       place to visit for more than one day, Nutbush Bridge Campground is a brilliant place to camp nearby. Thomas Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April is the month with the least moisture. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Do take a look at Thomas Lake Dam while you're here at Thomas Lake, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Little Fishing Creek. This lake is so wonderful.                  Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Paschal Golf Club, and hey, Brandy Creek is a delightful local stream.
