The Mountains Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This location is peerless, just explore all the amusing things to do in the vicinity of The Mountains Lake. Bald Mountain Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby; Lake Lure is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Rocky Broad River, and you obtain a wonderful sight       of Buzzards Roost from here. And that's not all the things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A delightful location to camp here at The Mountains Lake is Lake Lure RV Park and Campground, and The Mountains Dam is a charming spot. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Broad River, and do take a look at Bald Mountain Lake, it's a lovely lake. The Mountains Lake gets lots of water; the month of May is the wettest                  with most of the rain, and December is when it's the driest. A quick visit to Buffalo Creek right next door to The Mountains Lake is a good idea, and after a long day outdoors Fairway Villas at Rumbling Bald Resort is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to The Mountains Lake. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 40's while The Mountains Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. So much cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just astonishing.
