Many people like to go to Temple Lake. This lake is so wonderful. From Temple Lake you obtain a tremendous panorama of Bullhead Mountain. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Temple Lake has to offer, you can camp at New River Canoe and Campground. An average amount of precipitation falls at Temple Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture. Temple Lake is one of the lakes here in

| | the Blue Ridge Mountains. High temperatures at Temple Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Temple Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Not far from Temple Lake, you'll locate Little Glade Millpond which is a gorgeous lake, and playing golf is lots of fun at Olde Beau Golf Club. to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Go for a hike on the Perkins Knob Trail; close by you hit upon good locations like Deep Gap. So much fun stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just unbelievable. Going for
a hike on the Mountain Trail is always a glorious adventure; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend New River. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area right
next door to Temple Lake has to offer. Temple Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. If you need a spot to stay Master Hosts - Alleghany Inn is a great choice, and Temple Lake Dam is not far at all from
Temple Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Temple Lake called the Dogwood Trail, and you can stay the night at New River Canoe Rentals.
