You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. A quick visit to Bobs Creek near Taylors Lake is a perfect idea, and at Taylors Lake you can catch a sight of Gibbs       Mountain. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is great! Catawba River is a pleasant whitewater spot in the vicinity of Taylors Lake, and Taylors Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Armstrong Creek RV Park is a nice local campground. At Taylors Lake throughout the months of                  summer highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Taylors Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
