Sylva Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Summertime at Sylva Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sylva Reservoir temperatures drop to the 20's. So many fun things in the Great Smoky Mountains, just striking. Why not take a look at close by Allens Branch if you're here

| | at Sylva Reservoir, and nearby you come across the Caldwell Fork Trail which is a great hiking trail. Azalea Motel & Cottages is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Tuckasegee River. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Great Smoky Mountains. and close by you come across splendid spots like Wolfpen Gap. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Scotts Creek, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Sylva is a great choice. The high level of precipitation makes
Sylva Reservoir a pretty wet spot; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is when it's the driest. All the outdoors cool stuff near Sylva Reservoir will keep you coming back
time and again. Stay the night at Moonshine Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Shortoff Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Palmer Creek Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is so
wonderful. Head up to Cataloochee and strap some skis to your feet, and you can catch a glimpse of Perry Top from Sylva Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Great Smoky Mountains.
