In North Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Sylva Reservoir is one of them. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Great Smoky Mountains is peerless! Wolfpen Gap is a magnificent spot to have a look at close by, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Scotts Creek. The high level of rain makes Sylva Reservoir a rather wet place; March is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike

| | on the Caldwell Fork Trail; there's good hiking along the Shortoff Mountain Trail.
Best Western River Escape Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest, and a pleasant spot to camp here at Sylva Reservoir is Holly Cove. This lake is so wonderful. Cataloochee is a magnificent local ski area; Perry Top can be spotted from Sylva Reservoir.

Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Palmer Creek Trail, and Allens Branch is close to Sylva Reservoir and is always a bliss to stop at. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Sylva Reservoir, too pleasant to be true.
There's whitewater on Tuckasegee River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and camping at Savannah Creek RV Resort is always a pleasant experience. A lake close by is Lake Dillsboro, and if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn
Express Hotel & Suites Dillsboro, Nc is a good choice.
Sylva Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Great Smoky Mountains. Summertime highs at Sylva Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to
the 50's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Sylva Reservoir.
