A fine place to camp here at Sunset Lake is Fleetwood RV Camping Resort; dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn-Monroe. Sunset Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during July while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here       than Sunset Lake, for example Pharrs Lake; camping is available at Yates Family Camping. For the duration of the long summer days at Sunset Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Sunset Lake fall into the 20's. There's some interesting stuff to spot at Sunset Lake Dam Number One in close                  proximity to Sunset Lake, and Smiths Lake is a delightful lake close by. Just can't get enough of Sunset Lake.
