Straus Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Straus Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You can run the rapids of Davidson River near Straus Lake; Ash Grove Resort Cabins And Camping is a glorious campground here. And that's not all you can do here at Straus Lake. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Straus Lake Dam.
A great location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Straus Lake is Davidson River, and dry warm beds

| | await you at Rodeway Inn Brevard. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. A trip to Dodsworth Spring will fill your spirit with glorious feelings; you'll probably meet some people from Brevard here. Straus Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a great deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout March, and October is when it's the driest.

at Straus Lake and you like golf, you can check out Connestee Falls Golf Club, and while you're here, you might as well have a look at Andy Cove. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are tremendous; Carolina Lake is a lake that's near
Straus Lake, and one of the governing characteristics of the surroundings of Straus Lake is Burl Mountain. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Straus Lake while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter
come with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Straus Lake drop into the 20's.
Imperial Motor Lodge is a delightful spot to get some rest; you can go for a hike on the Black Mountain
Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area near Straus Lake has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Cove Creek Campground is a great place to camp, and there's splendid hiking along the Thompson
Ridge Trail. Having a splendid time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is easy. Allison Creek is a glorious site to go to, and don't leave Straus Lake without first going for a hike along the Mullinax Trail.
