Starnes Cove Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Starnes Cove Lakes reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Starnes Cove Lakes throughout the winter typically fall into the 20's. Go for a hike on the Laurel Mountain Trail, and Ski Beech       has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. Wolf Laurel is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; there are great locations to explore along the Shut-In Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn West is a tremendous choice, and you'll locate a beautiful lake called Enka Lake. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There's always                  Starnes Cove Fishing Lake Dam to stop at in the neighborhood of Starnes Cove Lakes, and a great place to explore close by is Luther Gap. A large amount of rainfall falls at Starnes Cove Lakes; most of the rain falls through July while October is typically the driest month. You just must love Starnes Cove Lakes. Get soaked paddling on French Broad River, and Deaver View Mountain is a peak you can spot from Starnes Cove Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Blue Ridge Parkway is worthwhile, and a delightful close by hotel is Red Roof Inn Asheville West. Having a great time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is uncomplicated. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Walnut Creek; going for a hike on the Side Hill Trail is always a delightful adventure. Starnes Cove Lakes is a location with many visitors from Asheville, and you can stay the night at Bear Creek RV Park and Campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. A beautiful lake like J and J Fishing Lake next to Starnes Cove Lakes is a magnificent place to check out.
