You'll need more than a day to look at everything Spring Valley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Lake Campground. Paddling on Deep River is so much fun, and you can stay the night at Heritage Camping and Recreation. The fine people of Sanford like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. At Spring Valley Lake Dam near Spring Valley Lake there are some out of the ordinary       things to see, and dry warm beds await you at Little River Golf & Resort. High temperatures at Spring Valley Lake through the summertime are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Spring Valley Lake descend into the 20's. The high level of rainfall makes Spring Valley Lake a relatively wet place; most of the rain                  falls through July; the driest of the months is April.
