Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Speas Lakes. Good hiking is available along the Moores Knob Trail, and K and W Lake is a magnificent lake nearby. Piatts Lake Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Speas Lakes; Cascade Trail is a delightful local trail; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge King is a good site to spend a night
or two. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Speas Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Moores Springs Campground on the Dan River, and get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Dan River. Don't leave Speas
Lakes without first going for a hike along the Cooks Wall Trail; Speas Lakes is a tremendous location to camp, Tanglewood Family Resort is a tremendous location. Speas Lakes is a relatively wet place usually with much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
